Gan Golan

Gan Golan is a New York Times bestselling writer and illustrator. He is the coauthor of Goodnight Bush (2008) and The Adventures of Unemployed Man (2010), both with Erich Origen, and he spent many years as a grassroots community organizer and activist. He studied economic geography at the University of California at Berkeley before earning a master's degree in urban planning and international development at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As a visual artist, he has created artwork for a number of well-known musicians including Erykah Badu, Henry Rollins, Willie Nelson, Ben Harper, and Nick Cave, for which he has won several national awards.
