Carlton Brown is the chief operating officer of Full Spectrum, New York, which he cofounded in 1983. Brown's vision for Full Spectrum has led to the firm's recognition as a national leader in the development of affordable green and smart buildings in emerging urban markets. Mr. Brown has served on several boards including the New York Chapter, AIA; the Business Resource & Investment Service Center of the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone; BEN Asset Group; and is the current board chair of 651 Arts. In September 2006, Mr. Brown was the only developer appointed to New York City Mayor Bloomberg’s Sustainability Advisory Board.
