Michael Pyatok, FAIA, is the principal of Pyatok Architects, Inc. Pyatok has served as a professor of architecture and design at the University of Washington, Harvard University, and Arizona State University. Since starting his practice in 1984, he has designed more than thirty-five thousand units of affordable housing in California, Washington, and Arizona, as well as master planning communities in Hawaii, the Philippines, and Malaysia. He is the recipient of the 2013 Thomas Jefferson Award for Public Architecture.
