John Paul Lederach is professor of international peacebuilding at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, an distinguished scholar at Eastern Mennonite University. Lederach is involved in conciliation work in Columbia, the Phillippines, and Nepal, as well as in East and West Africa. He is universally recognize as a distinguished scholar and practitioner whose work has illuminated the contributions of the arts to conflict transformation. He is the author of several books including When Blood and Bones Cry Out: Journeys through the Soundscape of Healing and Reconciliation (2010) and The Moral Imagination: The Art and Soul of Building Peace (2005).
